Hey guys! I don’t know about you, but I feel like summer was over in the blink of an eye. Anyone else? While it’s now behind us, I gladly welcome the colors and weather of fall. Mostly I love sweaters with leggings and boots (pretty much my fall uniform). I love getting new pieces as the weather gets chillier. When I thought about fall fashion, I narrowed it down to key items that are SO versatile, I know you’ll wear over and over in many different ways. Use this checklist to keep you organized for fall must-have pieces!
Colored bottoms are still going strong this fall. Now with soft corduroy fabric in warm autumn tones, you can get the trend AND stay cozy.
Scarves are an essential accessory and so easy to wear. I add one to pull together a look instantly. Plaid, striped, floral– patterns are in and look great even when mixing and matching. Here are some ways I’d wear them: casual, dressy and with denim.
We’ve been saying this for how many seasons, but blazers are still an absolute staple! I love all the different colors, textures and the mix of casual and dressy styles.
Like I said, boots are an essential part of my fall wardrobe. Did you see Erin’s post on how to wear boots? Check it out for cute outfit ideas. I was also super pumped to find out maurices is selling one of my favorite boot brands, Bearpaw, as an online exclusive. Perfect for our Minnesota winters! Now that boot season is in full swing, we wanted to do a quick video on how to store them to keep you organized for the long winter months ahead!
Blouses are a big trend and I can’t get over how versatile they are. They can can be dressy, casual, tucked-in, tied, worn with pants skirts– just to name a few! Look for a follow up post on ways to wear blouses.
